This year, Doc Circuit Montreal is working to become a platform for producers to interact with each other. The Producer's Lab is a program that will call upon experts from several disciplines to bring fresh perspectives on business models and innovative strategies that contribute to the sustainability and financial feasibility of documentary projects. Our aim is to equip production companies to face the challenges of the digital world. The program will focus on brainstorming and developing new production and distribution models with the aim of ensuring the viability and growth of the documentary industry. The lab will break down the possibilities offered by creative and digital platforms, and explore potential transformations in the documentary market and audience.
