Public Listening Session : Demain les Innus

Activities and Events

Once again this year, the Soirées d’Écoute Publique collective (ecoutemtl.ca) invites you to discover the pinnacle of audio and radio creativity. Thanks to the RIDM, we will take over a movie theater for a long listening session in the dark. It will be a double bill, with the winner of our Canada-wide short-form competition followed by a feature-length Swiss production recorded in Quebec. A session without images, to the delight of the ears.

Cynthia is 15 years old. On a training sailboat, she will discover how to read winds and live in an overcrowded environment. As a lonely girl used to live in a bubble, it won’t be easy for her to develop relationships. She will confide in her diary a memorable encounter on board.

The event will be held in French.
