The first animated documentary ever made, by animation pioneer Winsor McCay. The film is a reconstruction of the sinking of a British ship torpedoed by the Germans. An example of animation putting images to otherwise invisible history.

Presented in collaboration with the Sommets du cinéma d'animation, the Cinémathèque québécoise, the Département d'histoire de l'art et d'études cinématographiques de l'Université de Montréal and the Observatoire du cinéma au Québec
