This year’s market was also noteworthy for the creation of a Producers’ Lab, which brought together experts from several disciplines relevant to startups: business, film, technology and innovation. The fourth edition of the Talent Lab was also held this year, culminating in Canal D’s presentation of a $10,000 development grant to a Canadian French-language project. DCM was more popular than ever, attracting not only a wide spectrum of professionals, but many high-level guests including a delegation of six Danish producers specializing in interactive projects, five artists from the Open Immersion Lab, and 85 decision-makers, such as representatives of Eurimages, Chicken & Egg, National Geographic, Margaret Mead Film Festival, Syndicado and Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK).
