Doc Circuit Montreal is pleased to announce the launch of a new collaboration with Frontières the international co-production market focused on genre. Doc Circuit Montréal will co-present the project BLACK ZOMBIE, a documentary from director Maya Annik Bedward who presented her project during the Doc Circuit Montréal's Talent Lab 2017.

This new partnership will take the form of long term collaboration to strengthen ties between the genre and documentary communities. Both events will co-present a project at each markets. 

About Black Zombie

Black Zombie is a feature documentary about slavery, resistance and the living dead. Tracing the cultural origins of the Zombie from Haitian folklore to Hollywood horror, Black Zombie investigates popular misrepresentations of this symbolic figure to reveal the buried history and transformative power it holds.
