Their names are Régis, Abou, Salimata, Naïla, Nazario, Aaron, Astan, Elvis. They want to be architects, surgeons, presidents. They are a little scared of their neighbourhood, where everyone is armed and violence is common. They believe in God, question their identity and think about love. Some are self-effacing, others are irrepressibly outgoing. All attend Collège Claude Debussy in Aulnay-sous-Bois, in the banlieue of Paris. These young people are the core of a poignant, dreamy but unsensational docu-fiction, filmed in just a day and two nights, capturing the richness and vitality of their dreams, hopes and fears, as well as their unique understanding of the world in which we live.
