Are there reduced or special fares?

There are no reduced fares this year.

A subscription gives me access to what exactly?

A subscription gives you access to all the films included in that thematic section, to be viewed during its period of availability online.

A passport gives me access to what exactly?

A passport gives you access to all the films of the Festival, available for viewing online during the given schedule of each thematic section.

Can I buy a ticket for only one film?

You have to buy a subscription to the thematic section of the film. You cannot purchase only one individual film.

Should film screenings at the Cinémathèque Quebecoise be possible, these tickets will be available for sale by the unit.

Can I buy a 5-ticket booklet and pick my own film selection as per years past?

Sorry, you cannot make an "à-la-carte" selection this year.

For how long will the films be available online?

Accessible from November 12 at 8AM until November 18 at 11:59pm:

  • Disrupting History
  • Exploring Nature
  • Seeking Communities

Accessible from November 19 at midnight until November 25 at 11:59pm:

Can I share my access code with other people?

No. Access to the platform is not transferable to another person.

Will there be a physical Box Office at the Cinémathèque this year?

No. The Box Office will operate entirely online this year. This is to minimize physical interactions and to go along with the various governmental sanitary directives.

If there were screenings at la Cinémathèque, you will have to buy your ticket online prior to your arrival.

Why can't I view the films outside of the province of Québec?

Access to viewing the documentary films of pour programming is limited to the province of Quebec for reasons linked to film distribution rights. It is therefore not possible to view the films on our platforms if you are located outside of the province.
