With a GPS collar around her neck, the she-wolf Naya leaves Germany and journeys to Belgium. It is the first time one of the animals has been spotted in the country for over a century, and Naya’s unexpected migration captures the imagination of the press and the public. This sudden explosion of popularity soon becomes a threat to the canid. The story unfolds in surveillance videos and audio clips from a variety of different news sources, as this short film takes the audience on a thrilling chase that raises a number of questions. What spaces remain for wildlife? Can humans coexist with other predators? Is there no limit to the omnipresence of surveillance technology? Why do we feel the need to understand everything?
