Online One-on-One Pitches 2021
The One-on-One pitches are presented in collaboration with l'APFC - Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada and offers two half-days of individual meetings between accredited producer-directors and industry representatives: public and private broadcasters, sales agents, festival representatives, fund and institute representatives. It is a unique moment to create new partnerships and make one’s project known.
Following the great success of last year’s edition, the One-on-One 2021 will once again be held online. This format allows participants to meet with industry representatives from all over the country and abroad.
The activity will take place on 2 half-days, Tuesday November 16 and Wednesday November 17, from 9 am to 1 pm (Montreal time).
Once again this year, the event will be attended by expert representatives from all sectors of the industry. The list can be found here.
Meetings last 15 minutes and are planned in advance. When signing up for the event and filling out a detailed form, participants request up to 12 meetings with industry representatives, obtaining a minimum of 4 of these requests. The Forum RIDM then assigns 6 more meetings with relevant industry representatives and experts based on the participant’s projects and goals. A total of 10 meetings will be organized.
Registration for the 2021 edition is now closed.
The One-on-One Duo pass allows TWO PEOPLE working on the same project (1 filmmaker and 1 producer) to participate together in this activity. Both people will be asked to participate to the exact same ten meetings.
Be Aware! One-on-One meeting requests are granted on a first come, first serve basis, according to registration date. Meeting schedules are sent by email in the days preceding the event.
