In keeping with the RIDM spirit of connecting different artistic practices with cinema, we asked artists from Montreal’s music scene to organize a film and music event that reflects their world. These artists will present a documentary that resonates with their work, followed by a musical performance in the adjacent room that will engage with the film.
Tuesday, November 25: Carte blanche to Bibi Club: screening of A Sound of My Own (Rebecca Zehr, 2021) + performance and DJ set by Bibi Club
Thursday, November 27: Carte blanche to Annie-Claude Deschênes: screening of General Idea, AIDS and the Fin de siècle (Annette Mangaard, 2008) + performance by the group PyPy
