The RIDM Satellites are valuable collaborations as part of the RIDM’s mission. They consist of cultural venues, organizations with complementary missions to the RIDM and other festivals that we often collaborate with. Along with these organizations, the RIDM plans several events highlighting the art of documentary and industry actors. Although it is not always the case, these events are often documentary screenings that take place before, during and after the festival. These allies help us to promote documentary filmmaking and its filmmakers within the film industry.
