2024 Call for Entries

The 2024 call for entries of the RIDM’s 27th is open.

Submission Deadline for film: June 15 at midnight (UTC-5)

We also offer a 30% discount to all filmmakers who submit a project that has participated in one of the Forum RIDM professional development programs in the past (First Pitch, Rough Cut, Doc Lab).

 

REQUIRED FORMATS

  • Short films (less than 30 min.)

  • Medium-Length films  (30 to 59 min.)

  • Feature-length films (over 60 min.)

  • Audio Documentary (5 to 75 min.)


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Works must have been produced after December 1, 2022;

  • Works must be subtitled in either French or English (if the original language is neither French nor English);

  • Incomplete submissions will not be considered (see "Submission Procedure" below);

  • Works previously rejected by the RIDM may not be resubmitted;

  • Selected films must grant the RIDM the Quebec premiere, meaning they cannot be broadcast, webcast or screened-in Quebec before being shown at the RIDM.

  • Early bird (March 1 to March 29, 2024, at midnight UTC-5)

  • Regular (March 30 to May 26, 2024, at midnight UTC-5)

  • Late bird (May 27 to June 15, 2024, at midnight UTC-5)
