Forum RIDM, in partnership with Telefilm Canada, is proud to announce the participation of a Canadian delegation consisting of three producers in the Cannes Docs section at the Marché du Film.
This participation will allow the selected individuals to showcase their production companies and their journeys as producers during the Co-Pro Social Club sessions, in the presence of professionals from around the world.

The selected individuals for Cannes Docs are as follows:
Patricia Bergeron, president and founder of Leitmotiv Productions, has over 20 years of experience in production, with cinematic projects including seven award-winning short films, a virtual reality project, and a debut feature film: Noémie dit oui. Also a trainer at INIS, Patricia produces powerful and provocative fiction films and documentaries, led by filmmakers with unique signatures.
Farnaz Jurabchian, co-founder of F&M Productions, is an Iranian-Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer, multiple award winner at festivals such as FIPADOC, EBS in South Korea, and IFFS in Portugal. Her films have been featured multiple times at Hot Docs and IDFA. Her films primarily address the theme of homeland, featuring characters that embody different aspects of society.
Alejandro Valbuena, from Curare Films production company, has gained recognition contributing to films showcased at prestigious festivals such as Berlinale, TIFF, Sundance, Venice, and Cannes. In 2023, he won the Breakthru pitch at Hot Docs. His recent productions have been featured at Sundance and CANNESERIES.
The Marché du Film is an essential meeting point for industry professionals and will take place from May 16 to May 21, 2024.
