Talent Lab: Day 1

Guided by industry professionals and various speakers from the industry, the Talent Lab is an opportunity for about fifteen emerging creators to reflect on their projects and artistic practices over 3 days of professional activities, workshops and closed conferences. Participants will also be able to claim different grants and support offered by Canal D, ONF, NFB and CineGround.

CANAL D SUPPORT
For the seventh consecutive year, CANAL D will offer a $10,000 scholarship (in the form of a development contract) to one of the Canadian Francophone Talent Lab 2021 projects.

CINEGROUND SUPPORT
This year, CineGround is once again committed to offering a $5,000 bursary in the form of post-production services to a Canadian or Quebec project.

ONF SUPPORT
The ONF is a partner of the Talent Lab for a fourth consecutive year. The Documentary Studio of the NFB's French program is helping the next generation of filmmakers in 2021 with an amount of $5000 in the form of a contract in the development phase for the selected project.

NFB SUPPORT
The NFB's English program this year doubled its support for the development of an English-language project by a Canadian-based filmmaker chosen from among the Talent Lab 2021 participants, for a value of $5,000.
