12 - 19 Nov. 2020
SCHEDULEIn 2020, the One-on-One presented by APFC - Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada will take place online over two mornings: Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Montreal local time).
Both mornings will focus on individual remote meetings between producers and industry representatives: public and private broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, festival programmers and representatives of institutions and funds. It is a unique opportunity to form new partnerships and extend the reach of a new project. In last year’s edition, 71 local and international decision makers and experts attended the event.
Each meeting is scheduled and lasts 15 minutes. When registering for the One-on-One, participants will request meetings with twelve industry representatives and will be scheduled for at least four meetings with people from their list. Six more meetings may be assigned by the Forum RIDM team, based on an in-depth analysis of the participant’s file. Altogether, participants will have ten meetings.
Because of its online format, the 2020 One-on-One must limit the number of meetings to ten per participant (compared with an average of fifteen in 2018 and 2019).
In 2020, the One-on-One will not schedule meetings with consultants and experts. Instead, those meetings will become round tables available to online registered attendees of Forum RIDM 2020. See the Funds Round Tables and Expert Round Tables in the Forum RIDM 2020 catalogue.
Please note: your meetings will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, based on your registration date.
Your meeting schedule, including links to each session, will be emailed to you a few days before the event.
The registration period for this year’s event is September 21 to October 21, 2020.
