Located in the museum district of the Museum of Fine Art, Cinéma du Musée presents art films on the big screen in optimal screening conditions. Cinéma Public offers a regular programming in its theatre at Casa d'Italia, summer outdoor screenings at Livart, online films, as well as cultural mediation activities. The team is also working on the opening of a new cinema, which will soon enhance the big-screen offering in Montreal.

IDA provides extensive professional services for members and grants to documentary filmmakers, organizes the Getting Real conference, annual IDA Documentary Awards, and publishes the Documentary magazine. IDA advocates for the rights and interests of documentarians around the world.
Ciel variable
Ciel variable creates and spreads knowledge about contemporary photography for a bilingual readership sensitive to arts and culture. In the print magazine, as well as online, special care is taken to publish thoughtful texts and quality images related to current issues.

DOC-Cévennes promotes Quebec documentary films in France through a regional network and the Lasalle's International Documentary Film Festival.
POP Montréal

24 images is a film magazine available on multiple platforms. Each year, 4 printed issues are dedicated to specific topics through an array of interviews, think pieces, and reviews. Online, the magazine publishes weekly reviews and articles, as well as a bi-monthly podcast.
Panorama_Cinéma
The online magazine Panorama-cinéma has given itself the mandate to promote film culture and new media through an approach that is both critical and essayistic. Its editorial line is driven by a variety of subjects and works to capture the nature of cinematic experiences and gazes by favoring a sensitive and articulate writing.
Séquences
Since its creation in 1955, the primary objective of Séquences, an independent publication, has been to promote cinematographic culture among young people and the cinephile public. It's in that spirit that the magazine's mandate is characterized by a determination to support cinema first and foremost as an artistic medium.
International Festival of Films on Art
The FIFA is dedicated to the international promotion and distribution of films on art and media arts, through an annual festival in March, an online streaming platform ARTS.FILM and a series of activities throughout the year. Its 44th edition will take place in March 2026.
FCVQ
For over ten years, the FCVQ has been offering to the public of Quebec City a grand celebration of cinema. Bridging fiction and documentary, local, national, and international cinema, the FCVQ is an event that brings together film enthusiasts and the general public for a festive and friendly gathering. Festival Regard
REGARD is one of the leading short film festivals in North America. Founded in 1995 in Saguenay, it serves as the gateway to the Americas for short cinema and as an international launchpad for Canadian filmmaking. As a hub for filmmakers in the country, REGARD is the cultural event that attracts the highest number of tourists annually to Saguenay. Recognized by the Oscars and FIPRESCI, it screens an average of 150 films from over 50 countries annually and awards $120,000 in prizes and scholarships. Its festive atmosphere and high-quality programming have made it an unmissable event for Quebec cinephiles.
Courts d’un soir Festival
Courts d’un soir Festival promotes talents from short films, series and music videos. He has distinguished himself by his desire to support the next generation. Its Journées Pro are an unmissable event aimed at equipping emerging talents and creating a meeting place with professionals in the field. Its 11th edition will take place in April 2026.

Since 2010, Le Cinéma sous les étoiles, presented by Funambules Médias, has been bringing powerful social, political, and environmental documentaries to parks across Greater Montreal. AQPM
The Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM) advises, represents and accompanies independent film, television and Web production corporations whose productions, both French and English, are recognized in Quebec and at the international level.
