Transistor Média and RIDM are joining forces for the first time to host a Kino-radio event during the festival’s closing weekend from November 24 to 26, 2023. Teams, composed of Canadian professionals from various artistic backgrounds and a team of European artists, will come together to participate in the project. Teams will have 48 hours to craft an audio documentary, culminating in a public presentation at the end of the intensive weekend at the Cinémathèque québécoise.

This initiative builds upon last year's collaboration when the RIDM showcased the works of five teams that convened in Gatineau’s Old Aylmer from October 14 to 16, 2022 to take part in the Kino-radio event. This public listening session provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with the participants and explore their creations.
