RIDM en plein air summer screenings in August:
The world’s best documentaries outdoors, free, all summer!
Montreal, July 26, 2016 – The Montreal International Documentary Festival’s (RIDM) program of free outdoor screenings will continue during the month of August and will lead up to the final RIDM+ screening on August 25, and the festival from November 10 to 20.
On August 16 in Place de la Paix, the public is invited to see a film never before shown at the festival: I Am the Blues by Daniel Cross, a stirring tribute to legendary blues musicians.
Working with several other organizations, the RIDM will present a selection of top-notch documentaries in Montreal’s parks and several unusual venues. It’s a great way to enjoy both the summer and the best of documentary film. RIDM en plein air series is presented by Planète+, documentary channel.
All screenings will start at nightfall, and most will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
