THE RIDM’S NEW WEBSITE IS LIVE
Montreal, Thursday, July 21, 2016 – With its 19th edition just around the corner – November 10 to 20 – the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) is proud to announce the launch of a new website that fully reflects the organization’s image. The site was developed over the last few months by the Akufen creative studio. It is open to visitors now.
The new site is designed to meet the major challenge of highlighting all of the RIDM’s activities. These include year round initiatives like the monthly RIDM+ screenings, as well as outdoor screenings, the youth program, the November festival and the Doc Circuit Montréal documentary market. As an added convenience, the site is designed to work seamlessly on tablets and smartphones. Another new feature is the Video on Demand (VOD) section, where professionals registered for Doc Circuit Montréal will be able to watch selected films from the festival program.
In addition to showcasing the festival’s rich programming and activities, the new site demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting the documentary community and the festival’s partners. It was also essential to make site visitors’ experience as enjoyable as possible.
For its 19th edition, the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) will once again present the year’s best documentaries. Films about hot-button issues and unforgettable stories will spark plenty of discussion and interest in the festival’s ever-growing audience.
