The Magnus-Isacsson prize, created and named in the honour of the beloved Montréal documentary filmmaker who passed away in the summer of 2012, is awarded to an emerging Canadian filmmaker for a film demonstrating social consciousness. The Magnus-Isacsson prize is presented by Funambules Médias, Cinema Politica, Doc Québec, and Main Film.
