November 24th, 2026 Discussion Forum

Creation Across Multiple Territories

Outside major cities, filmmakers and producers are developing their own ways of producing, storytelling and bringing films into circulation.

This discussion proposes a shift in perspective. Rather than approaching these practices through the notion of margins, which always implies the existence of a center, we will map the plurality of cinematic territories. How do geographical, economic and cultural realities shape creative and production practices? What networks, production models and circuits of circulation emerge across these different territories? And how can these various trajectories transform our understanding of what constitutes national, local or international cinema?

This discussion will be held in English. Live translations via AI will be available for this activity.

Access is reserved for Forum accreditation or passeport holders, or holders of an individual ticket.
