twenty-five years swayed between our teeth (2025 / 2026) is a moving-image and live performance that speaks to strategies of collaboration, solidarity, activism and the tensions inherent within them. The work weaves sonic and visual echoes that invite us to consider the transformative power of process and its potential to shape our understanding of how to exist today.

Originally conceived as a gallery installation in 2025, the film takes on a new iteration at RIDM through a live performance. Musicians Emna Mâaref, DJ Lia Plutonic, Mili Hong, and Habib el Bardi will create a new sonic work in dialogue with the film, drawing on its themes and concepts as points of departure for collective improvisation. Presented as a coda to the film, the performance opens up new ways of listening to, and moving through its ideas, allowing them to resonate, fracture, and transform.
