Apprendre Claire Simon

At Makarenko elementary school in the Paris suburbs, children learn, express themselves, and assert themselves. At their young age, these endearing children are full of life and longing, but they are also particularly vulnerable. In front of Claire Simon’s attentive camera, placed at child height, we learn to carve out our place, engage in dialogue, control our emotions, and respect others. With empathy, pedagogy, and kindness, the teachers build a bond of trust with these young souls, guiding them beyond their education and toward integrating into society and accepting living together. Co-presented by Cinemania and with the support of the Consulat général de France à Montréal
