Moving between the past and present, this film paints a creative portrait of Romanian endurance athlete and ultra runner Tibi U?eriu. With its fearless camera and meticulous direction, this film reveals a determined man as he takes on the 6633 Arctic Ultra, one of the longest, most dangerous and toughest endurance races in the world. His story, and those of his loved ones, gradually comes to life through cinematic recreations that take us back to his difficult past, from his childhood with a neglectful, violent father to his own imprisonment in a German prison for committing armed robberies. This spectacular and moving documentary brings to life the inspiring journey of a loving husband and father as he seeks to push the limits of his body, and perhaps, above all, to overcome the demons of his past.
