Montreal, July 30, 2024 – Forum RIDM’s 20th edition, presented by the Canada Media Fund (CMF), announces the opening of the call for Canadian projects for its Rough Cut Pitch.
New this year: this call is for all of Canada!
Canadian documentary filmmakers backed by a Canada-based production company with majority status are now eligible for the Rough Cut Pitch. Filmmakers and producers across Canada are invited to apply until August 26, 2024. The project must be in post-production and should have the potential for international distribution. Selected participants will also have the opportunity to take part in the One-on-One Pitches.
During this 20th edition, the selected teams of filmmakers and producers will have the opportunity to pitch and present a 15-minute excerpt of their film before a panel of renowned industry professionals, including festival programmers, as well as distributors and broadcasters. The most promising projects will have the opportunity to win prizes offered by Forum RIDM’s partners.
