Forum RIDM, presented by Netflix, is thrilled to introduce Doc Lab Montréal, the new incarnation of Talent Lab, and launches de call for projects for Canadian participants.

From November 17 to 22, Doc Lab Montreal will welcome a cohort of Canadian and international filmmakers and producers with short, medium-length or feature-length projects in development. This talent incubator is designed to help them take their work and their approach to documentary creation a step further. 

As a novelty this year, filmmakers with feature-length projects will be given the opportunity to pitch their projects before an audience of seasoned national and international market professionals. 

Emerging Canadian filmmakers with creative documentary projects in development or in the early stages of production are invited to apply before August 21, 2023, at 12 PM (EDT).
