| Cinematography in Contemporary Documentary Film

Through a case study of the film Among Mountains and Streams, this discussion explores the impact of cinematographers’ aesthetic choices on the construction of narrative in contemporary documentary, revealing the intimate connection between a work's visual form and its narrative scope.
