As the imminent extinction of human life on Earth approaches, scientists help to create a digital museum of humanity. This memory will be preserved in an artificial intelligence agent named Museo, which will also coordinate the mission they undertake in space aboard a biodome spaceship it pilots. Having deserted his colleagues before their departure, a man who seems to be the only human left on the planet wanders through landscapes where the remnants of the past give way to nature. Shifting between these two contrasting worlds, this speculative science-fiction film explores a visual language developed with care and skill, drawing on scientific imagery, post-apocalyptic cinema, diary film and experimental cinema. Leonardo Pironti wrote the screenplay, composed the music and edited this bold hybrid film. (HSB)
