This film takes us into Alice’s creative process as she takes part in developing Hidden Paradise, a work inspired by an interview with Alain Deneault on tax havens. This artistic and political research at the intersection of dance, theatre and news will lead her from daily precarity (thanks to the housing crisis) and plunge her into a surprising international investigation on the offshore economy, how it operates, the political ramifications and the consequences on public finances. Somewhere between realistic fiction, investigative journalism, a science-fiction thriller, an activist documentary and a situational comedy, this hybrid feature-length film playfully explores the political and artistic possibilities of creation.
