On an arid plain in the Canary Islands, under the constant murmur of a volcano and the eternal breath of the wind, three sisters meet to unravel the fate of the family land on which they grew up. Filmmaker Macu Machín's first feature immerses us in a suspended atmosphere, where bodies, silences, and the sounds of nature speak louder than words. Between harvesting almonds and tediously sorting through administrative paperwork, the sisters assess and observe each other, reevaluating the bonds marked by the weight of the past.
