Short and Medium-Length Competition

Crushed Between Ocean and Sky Ella Morton

After weathering a violent storm while sailing toward Antarctica, the crew talk about their extraordinary experience, where time and space merge and only chaos reigns. In one of the world's most inhospitable regions, crushed between ocean and sky, transcendence is never far. Ella Morton is at the helm of this hypnotizing experimental short film and accompanies these emotional testimonies with the remarkable use of images capable of relaying this liminal space where passengers feel, in turn, the vertigo of measuring up against imperial nature, the abysses of existence and the depth of the soul. Welcome aboard! (MB)
