In Munich, Germany, an amateur rugby team trains hard. Under their sportswear, bodies collide, learning to collaborate and understand one another through gestures and rituals. But mostly, they learn to reappropriate the very idea of sport, once synonymous with rejection. For Desmond and his team, united by their queer identity, it’s not just about the rules of the game; they must have the courage to overcome the solitude of their difference, to gradually get to know themselves, and to find trust in respect for one another. In this context, sport becomes an essential pretext for building a community that each individual can rely on to flourish. (SC)
