This film features an unusual encounter with Al Razutis, a multimedia artist, author, historian, educator and archivist. He welcomes us to Saturna Island, literally inviting us to experience Visual Alchemy, a mysterious place home to a unique collection of holograms. A truly psychedelic journey occasionally accompanied by well-chosen New Age music, this work unfolds as a cohesive exploration enriched by anaglyph technology and glitch effects. By freely expanding the possibilities of an image projected onto a 2D surface, this captivating cinematic poem examines and embodies a reflection on the creation and reception of images, the perception of reality and the experience of time and space.
