In this film, Chinese artist Jiayi Chen brings together the intricate phonetics of the Indigenous Tlingit language with images of trees and rivers in Alaska. This immersive sensory experience invites us to be lulled by the sound of streams and the way light envelops the flora, while also witnessing the profound changes taking place across the land. Lands once covered by glaciers are laid bare, just like the mechanics of pronouncing a language that is falling out of use. (CD)
